About Virtual Dermatology
Presbyterian Virtual Dermatology provides a convenient option to get care for visible skin, hair, and nail heath concerns. Available to patients with new and chronic conditions. Sessions are conducted privately and securely with a board-certified dermatologist who will create a personal treatment with you.
- Prescriptions and refills, as needed.
- Close collaboration with PMG surgical providers for dermatology procedure needs.
- Ability to self-schedule appointments at a time convenient for you.
- Video visits are available to patients anywhere in New Mexico with Wi‑Fi/internet access.
What to Expect
- When you select “Schedule An Appointment,” you will be given the option to log into your Presbyterian MyChart account or create an account.
- Select Virtual Dermatology Appointment and answer the next few questions to schedule an appointment.
- You must complete eCheck-In before your appointment and upload 3 clear images of your concern. It's encouraged to complete eCheck-In at least four (4) hours prior to your appointment.
- Following the visit, you will receive a copy of your After Visit Summary with care instructions.

Additional PMG Dermatology/Skin Services
Presbyterian's Plains Regional Medical Center provides local in-clinic dermatology services with a nurse-facilitated exam and virtual dermatologist. In addition, PMG's St. Michael's Skin Clinic specializes in care of medical dermatology conditions to patients.

Albuquerque & surrounding area members are out of network.
Presbyterian Virtual Dermatology accepts most major insurance. Charges related to telehealth services are determined by your insurance plan. If you have questions about coverage, payment plans, or financial assistance, please contact your insurance provider.
Presbyterian may charge two (2) separate fees for two (2) visits made on the same day when the provided service or procedure is distinctly different. If a visit is made on a different day or the day after the initial visit, a fee may also apply. Your insurance plan will determine what is covered. Please contact your insurance plan for any questions you may have.
