PMG Virtual Medication Management
Presbyterian Virtual Medication Management provides an initial consultation, diagnosis, and medication treatment for many behavioral health conditions. Controlled substances cannot be prescribed via telehealth. Sessions are conducted privately and securely with a board-certified provider.
- Use video visits from anywhere in New Mexico with Wi-Fi/internet access.
- Select a visit time via your smartphone, tablet, or computer with a working webcam.
- Discuss real life problems and create a treatment plan with your provider.
- Visits are secure, confidential, and compliant with all medical privacy regulations.
- Standard data rates may apply to visits via cell phone.
What to Expect
- When you select “Schedule Appointment,” you will be given the option to log into your Presbyterian MyChart account or create an account.
- Once you log into MyChart, select Virtual Behavioral Health as your appointment type to schedule. The next questions will guide you to a Virtual Talk Therapy appointment, or if more appropriate, a Virtual Medication Management appointment.
- You must complete eCheck-In prior to your appointment. To avoid delaying your appointment, please complete eCheck-In from MyChart or appointment reminders a few days prior to your video visit.
- Following the visit, you will receive a copy of your After Visit Summary with care instructions.

- Schizophrenia
- Eating disorders
- Substance use disorders
- Bipolar disorder

Patients who feel at risk for suicide
- If having suicidal thoughts, call 911, go to the closest emergency department, or call the National Suicide Prevention line at 988
- Patients who've been hospitalized for a mental health condition in the past six months
- Any additional conditions treated with controlled substances

PMG Virtual Medication Management accepts most major insurance. Charges related to telehealth services are determined by your insurance plan. If you have questions about coverage, payment plans, or financial assistance, please contact your insurance provider.
Presbyterian may charge two (2) separate fees for two (2) visits made on the same day when the provided service or procedure is distinctly different. If a visit is made on a different day or the day after the initial visit, a fee may also apply. Your insurance plan will determine what is covered. Please contact your insurance plan for any questions you may have.
